Dumortierite, Rhodonite, Howlite and Hematite Mala Necklace

Our New Collection of Mala Necklaces has arrived!  This design was created from Healing Crystal Gemstone beads of 8mm Dumortierite from South Africa in a rich dark blue hue, Rhodonite from Madagascar with a tan matrix and Howlite in a matte finish.  There are 108 beads, typical of traditional Mala prayer beads.  Instead of a guru bead on this design we chose to add two Dumortierite beads surrounding a single Rhodonite bead.  We attached the beads to a Navy Blue Polyester Tassel that is 3" long.  There is no clasp on this necklace allowing you to wrap it around your wrist or neck.  Traditionally Mala's used in meditation have been hand-knotted, however we chose to string our design on beading wire for extra strength and durability.  The back end of the Mala does have two 3mm silver crimp beads to conceal the ends of the beading wire.  The overall length is 37", not including the guru bead or tassel which add an additional five inches from the necklace.  Matte Silver Electroplated Hematite beads (1mm) were added as accent beads to ensure the Dumortierite and Rhodonite really stood out.  This Mala Necklace will be delivered on our signature necklace tag, in a custom handcrafted box.
